Mrs. Cleatice A. Lee

Nevils, Georgia Mrs. Cleatice Allen Lee, age 73, of Nevils, GA, peacefully departed this life on May 6, 2026. Born on October 18, 1952, Cleatice lived a life filled with love, kindness, faith, and devotion to her family and community. Cleatice was the beloved wife of Willie Lee, Sr. for 54 years and a loving mother to her four beautiful children. She also shared a special bond with her close cousin, sister, friend, Argene Barnes, along with many extended family members and dear friends who loved her deeply. At a young age, she became a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Register, GA., where her family roots are planted. A proud graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School, Class of 1972, Cleatice was part of the school’s first integrated African American graduating class, a milestone that reflected both strength and history. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing softball with the teams “Guilty Cage” and “KFC”, creating many cherished memories along the way. She was a dedicated employee of Cooper-Wiss for over 17 years, where she was respected for her hard work and warm spirit. Known for her joyful heart and easygoing spirit, Cleatice had a beautiful smile and a sweet personality that could brighten any room. She loved cooking and was known to be an amazing cook whose meals brought family and friends together. She also had a special love for gardening and took great pride in caring for her plants and flowers. Her spirit was genuine and pure, carrying herself with grace, patience, and kindness. Though she will be deeply missed, the love, warmth, and memories Cleatice shared will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She leaves to cherish her husband, Willie E. Lee, Sr. of Nevils, GA. Her children, Willie Lee, Jr., Tina Lee (Gary) Cone, Tahirah Lee, and Andria (Greg) Wright all of Bulloch County, GA. Sisters, Arjean (Ivory) Holland of Brooklet, GA., Shirley Shimoyama of Philadelphia, PA., Annie Ruth (Lee Chester) Weaver of Collins, GA. Brothers, Carlis (Audrey) Allen of Glennville, GA. and Earnest (Linda) Roberts of Pembroke, GA. 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other close relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, R.C. Pendergrass and Weeda Dell Lane. As well as her siblings, Horace Eugene Allen, Margaret Rivers, and Betty Jean Mikell. A family visitation will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M, in the Ben Samuel Hill Memorial Chapel of Hill's Mortuary, Inc. The funeral service for Mrs. Cleatice A. Lee, will be held at 12 P.M., Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Register, Georgia with the Rev. Shannon Weaver, officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
